Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erdi Bender read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes in the game Martin Boxall did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Herbert Kaszubowski. In the 22nd minute of the match Edward Vanderstraeten shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erdi Bender showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 26th minute of the match Belgium got a corner. DELUX's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. Edward Vanderstraeten took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erdi Bender. Erdi Bender dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dinu Potra in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erdi Bender narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind DELUX's goalkeeper Erdi Bender, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 41 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erdi Bender was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 44 played minutes DELUX got a freekick which was hit by Martin Boxall. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinu Potra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Edward Vanderstraeten made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erdi Bender. Edward Vanderstraeten showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. When DELUX's Dinu Potra in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belgium's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Erdi Bender in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Erdi Bender. DELUX's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Martin Boxall made in the 63rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Herbert Kaszubowski immediately put the ball in play. Casper Claes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dominik Szoboszlai's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After some careless play in the Belgium defense, Dinu Potra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Claes. The Belgium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Claes should have stopped the shot. 71 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Dominik Szoboszlai came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Yves Dervaux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgium's supporters rose to their feet, but Yves Dervaux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erdi Bender breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the match, DELUX's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Erdi Bender reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Dinu Potra came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erdi Bender made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 79th minute. DELUX's Kıvanç Mertkal was substituted for Jordão Almeida. Erdi Bender showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Lachezar Túrpomanov scored 2-6 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casper Claes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erdi Bender showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Belgium had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
