Säfvahöjden's Benedicto Pasqual quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to Säfvahöjden getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Wawrzyniec Dejo hit a great ball. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Wawrzyniec Dejo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Säfvahöjden's Staffan Arenius quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Faustino Almeida, made in the 6th minute of the game. 7 minutes into the match, Wawrzyniec Dejo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wilson Amorim, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Wawrzyniec Dejo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Wawrzyniec Dejo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gianluigi Oblak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Wawrzyniec Dejo came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wawrzyniec Dejo in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Miranda notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Säfvahöjden's Gianluigi Oblak. Gianluigi Oblak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 23 minutes into the match, Säfvahöjden's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Gianluigi Oblak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Wawrzyniec Dejo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Wawrzyniec Dejo sent off a good shot on target. In the 28thth minute of the game Wawrzyniec Dejo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Säfvahöjden's Wawrzyniec Dejo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Säfvahöjden were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Portugal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benedicto Pasqual took the corner. 35 minutes into the match, Säfvahöjden's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Moreira came free, but Gianluigi Oblak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Säfvahöjden's Gianluigi Oblak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 36th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wawrzyniec Dejo got free with Wilson Amorim in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wawrzyniec Dejo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The audience was convinced that Viriato Moura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gianluigi Oblak was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 54th minute, Wawrzyniec Dejo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Säfvahöjden fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Wawrzyniec Dejo ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Dejo in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Francesco Granata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. A collision led to Säfvahöjden getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Francesco Granata hit a great ball. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Pimentel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gianluigi Oblak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Mpenza went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Mpenza in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Mpenza in the 90th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 91st minute of play forced Säfvahöjden's goalkeeper Gianluigi Oblak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Mpenza might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peter Mpenza ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Mpenza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Säfvahöjden's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
