Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Vestlund in the 8th minute of play. Yassine Bounou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. A collision led to BK Falcon getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Saad Weeks hit a great ball. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Vestlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When BK Falcon's Maksymilian Prus in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Netherlands's goalie prevented a goal. After 35 minutes Netherlands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hubert Kvist who took care of the corner kick. BK Falcon's Yassine Bounou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 36th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Hubert Kvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Falcon's supporters rose to their feet, but Hubert Kvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saad Weeks stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Maksymilian Prus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 minutes of play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yassine Bounou was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yassine Bounou was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 83 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennvar Bennebjerg in the 89th minute of the match. Hubert Kvist took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
