Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) France's Frank Peletier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Baume in the 3rd minute of play forced Vänersborg SC's goalkeeper Stewart Tongs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stewart Tongs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bobbo Viking in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Alexis Bruneau hit a great ball. After 10 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Henry Robiquet. Örjan Magnusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Vänersborg SC's goal looked a bit too open when Remy Dupuy came free, but Stewart Tongs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bobbo Viking. Stewart Tongs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camille Baume in the 20th minute of play. Camille Baume's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stewart Tongs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bobbo Viking, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bobbo Viking in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. Frank Peletier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Tord Alberg came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Vänersborg SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tord Alberg couldn't finish the play. The supporters of France booed when Vänersborg SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Canor Sans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Kihlman in the 36th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Vänersborg SC's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Baume came free, but Stewart Tongs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bobbo Viking made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Vänersborg SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Kihlman to maneuver through the defense. Camille Baume struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Stewart Tongs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for France. Camille Baume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A wasted opportunity for Vänersborg SC. 65 minutes into the game, Magne Drewitz threw the ball into play from the sideline. France's Quentin Beaux quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Frank Peletier kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Camille Baume's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stewart Tongs was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. When Camille Baume came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the France fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camille Baume couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Magne Drewitz in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by France's Remy Dupuy.
