Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ahmet Refik Ülgü started the match with the kick off. FC CSKA's Georgi Velinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 3rd minute of play. 3 minutes into the match, FC CSKA's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Georgi Velinov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 5 minutes FC CSKA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sigfrido Auletta who took care of the corner kick. After some careless play in the FC CSKA defense, Zaccheo Andolina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Georgi Velinov. The FC CSKA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Georgi Velinov should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute, Zaccheo Andolina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Georgi Velinov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC CSKA's goalkeeper Georgi Velinov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, FC CSKA's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Georgi Velinov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC CSKA's Georgi Velinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 28th minute of play. Georgi Velinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 35th minute of play. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Refik Ülgü, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 41 minutes into the match, FC CSKA's goal looked a bit too open when Siricio Liotta came free, but Georgi Velinov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC CSKA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. Georgi Velinov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 45th minute of the match. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Refik Ülgü, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Italy were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off in the second half. Sigfrido Auletta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georgi Velinov having to interfere. Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Georgi Velinov made a huge save. Georgi Velinov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC CSKA's zone, Zaccheo Andolina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georgi Velinov came out of the goal and Zaccheo Andolina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Refik Ülgü in the 62nd minute of play. Georgi Velinov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 67th minute of the match. Tanel Kiik hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. FC CSKA's Arnulfo Roderigo got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 80th minute of play forced FC CSKA's goalkeeper Georgi Velinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. In the 83rd minute of the game Tanel Kiik made a throw-in which Georgi Dimitrov played forward. In the 85th minute, Arnulfo Roderigo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Vittori was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. A collision led to FC CSKA getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Arnulfo Roderigo hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the game, Tanel Kiik threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Siricio Liotta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Guiscardo Davide kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruslan Dzhalev in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Refik Ülgü came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Italy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
