Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Efraim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germany were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Lobos de Carelia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frank Sachs took the corner. In the 21st minute, Albin Holweck made a precise shot to the right of Feliberto Ipar. Lobos de Carelia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 27th minute, Zeca Fernandez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lobos de Carelia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Feliberto Ipar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willy Stieler to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's Lucas Jimenez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Efraim in the 38th minute. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Ipar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 53rd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Schiele to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeca Fernandez in the 56th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Vladimiro Millano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Vladimiro Millano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Feliberto Ipar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Gabriel Efraim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Efraim in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. After 72 minutes of play, Lobos de Carelia's Gabriel Efraim made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Lobos de Carelia getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Virgílio Sá hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeca Fernandez in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Adolfo Gombal scored 3-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Efraim in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lobos de Carelia had played much better football throughout.
