Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alfred Chmelyk got the match started through his kick off. Jonas Nalder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Fontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of Sumaré Sport Club booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Nalder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Trigo might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Auer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zé Trigo ran back to his position shaking his head. 10 minutes into the match, Zé Trigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Trigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Sumaré Sport Club's attentive Luís Fabiano de Sena managed to snatch the ball when Emil Seidler made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Alfred Chmelyk took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Fabio Auer to make any attempt to save it. A wasted opportunity for Sumaré Sport Club. 21 minutes into the match, Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Trigo. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabio Auer was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Zé Trigo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zé Trigo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Zé Trigo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 45th play minutes Zé Trigo shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Fabio Auer and just under the crossbar into goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sandro Galishoff to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Zé Trigo put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fabio Auer. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Trigo in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Auer saved Austria from getting behind. After some careless play in the Austria defense, Sebastian Brun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Auer. The Austria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Auer should have stopped the shot. Fabio Auer was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Sumaré Sport Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
