The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Vihar Glavinchev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Serbia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vihar Glavinchev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 6th minute, Vihar Glavinchev reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. The goal made the score 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Vihar Glavinchev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. That made the score 3-0 in the 9 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Serbia's Drasko Rajkovic got a free kick in the 11th minute. Cvijetin Nanusevski kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Douglas Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vihar Glavinchev, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Martin Bållström got a throw-in 20 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Douglas Furtado. After some careless play in the Serbia defense, Douglas Furtado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. The Serbia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zvezdan Nedeljkovic should have stopped the shot. Gara Sim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Helvijs Kazene succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 25th playminute. 32 minutes into the match, Helvijs Kazene notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Douglas Furtado took a quick shot and it went in 8-0 without a chance for Zvezdan Nedeljkovic to make any attempt to save it. Sreten Popovic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Serbia's goal looked a bit too open when Vihar Glavinchev came free, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic got control of the ball when Vihar Glavinchev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 9-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 64 minutes of play, CARCASS's Gara Sim made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was left in no man's land by his defense there! Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helvijs Kazene in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Herbert Thylow left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CARCASS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. 72 minutes into the match, Helvijs Kazene notched a goal, 14-0, to the right of Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Helvijs Kazene scored 15-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helvijs Kazene in the 79th minute of the match. CARCASS had played much better football throughout.
