Bears are Back's Korneliusz Tokarczyk got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Toni Butcher came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Korneliusz Tokarczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bears are Back's Patryk Bartoszek got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Germany's Sven Krakouer got a free kick in the 26th minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patryk Bartoszek in the 28th minute of play. Germany's Adrian Dreifuss quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ryszard Cisek, made in the 30th minute of the game. Ryszard Cisek hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Korneliusz Tokarczyk came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Toni Butcher put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. In the 65th minute, Toni Butcher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 66 minutes, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Holweck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute Patryk Bartoszek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Germany booed when Bears are Back was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toni Butcher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toni Butcher might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toni Butcher ran back to his position shaking his head. Witomir Konieczny hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patryk Bartoszek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Piotr Perkowski who took care of the corner kick. In the 86th minute, Sven Krakouer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piotr Perkowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Patryk Bartoszek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When the referee ended the match the Bears are Back players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
