Eltham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Serbia the free kick. In the 11th minute, Danial Seng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Eltham's goal looked a bit too open when Sreten Popovic came free, but Jonathan Tian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lamar Butcher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Eltham booed when Serbia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borjan Golubovic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miljan Gavrilovic kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The long shot by Afriz Seah in the 26th minute really tested Zvezdan Nedeljkovic's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Clive Lee's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic firmly grabbed it by the left post. Danial Seng hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Sreten Popovic sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Eltham's Jonathan Tian didn't even have to move. After recieving a nice pass, Eltham's Anil Au tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noh Ning in the 44th minute of the match. The supporters of Eltham booed when Serbia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borjan Golubovic didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noh Ning in the 48th minute of play forced Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Noh Ning made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Serbia's Borjan Golubovic got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute of the match Anil Au sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic skillfully saved the ball. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noh Ning, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Jonathan Tian made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Borjan Golubovic sent off a good shot on target. Serbia's Borjan Golubovic managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Afiz Cheng in the 70 minute of the game. In the 73rd minute, Shafiq Hsi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 76th minute, Clive Lee ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shafiq Hsi in the 80th minute of play. Sreten Popovic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Tian having to interfere. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eltham.
