Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edílson Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Edílson Souza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 2-0. Fifth Chicken's Sten Granström quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Edílson Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd match minute, Fifth Chicken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kazimierz Sliwinski to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute, one of Germany:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Germany. Fifth Chicken's Waldemar Tipinski was substituted for Mieszko Borkowski. After 73 played minutes Fifth Chicken got a freekick which was hit by Sten Granström. Fifth Chicken's Sabahattin Tuncaral was substituted for Dominik Loncki. Edílson Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Edílson Souza notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edílson Souza in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
