The crowd rose to their feet as Muhittin Kamber kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Casper Claes. That made the score 3-2 in the 34 minute of play. Atahan Yankı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by İldeniz Balaman in the 38th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Muhittin Kamber received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Casper Claes came out and tried to block the shot, but Muhittin Kamber slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute, one of AV ZAMANI 37:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AV ZAMANI 37. In the 49th minute there was a penalty for Belgium. Edward Vanderstraeten stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Atahan Yankı. 4-3. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Vanderstraeten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by AV ZAMANI 37's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgium's players had a chance to rest.
