The throw-in from Jerónimo Avelar in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Freezerpool FC's Szczepan Gargasz. If Gordy Uchiha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sonny Alén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xorxe Canosa in the 17th minute of the match. Sonny Alén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xorxe Canosa in the 18th minute of play. Xorxe Canosa in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sonny Alén, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 20th minute of the match Freezerpool FC got a corner. La Cosa Nostra's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gordy Uchiha ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Per Söderkvist almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La Cosa Nostra's Sonny Alén did a great save. Jerónimo Avelar hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Sonny Alén had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matias Casco. Sonny Alén made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gordy Uchiha in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Håkan Šuker made a precise shot to the right of Miki Moco. Freezerpool FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 27th match minute, La Cosa Nostra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerónimo Avelar to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the game, Jerónimo Avelar threw the ball into play from the sideline. Freezerpool FC's Fabio Cordareo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 39th minute Håkan Šuker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miki Moco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sonny Alén was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gordy Uchiha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 44 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Håkan Šuker was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Håkan Šuker could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Miki Moco however easily saved by the left post. The throw-in from Fabio Cordareo in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by La Cosa Nostra's Jerónimo Avelar. Sonny Alén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gordy Uchiha, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Sonny Alén didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xorxe Canosa went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 64 minutes into the game, Jerónimo Avelar threw the ball into play from the sideline. Freezerpool FC's Fabio Cordareo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xorxe Canosa in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sonny Alén saved La Cosa Nostra from getting behind. When Freezerpool FC's Xorxe Canosa in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Cosa Nostra's goalie prevented a goal. Sonny Alén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xorxe Canosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute Gordy Uchiha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Alén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agnaldo Reis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Miki Moco made a huge save. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for La Cosa Nostra! In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Freezerpool FC. Gordy Uchiha stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sonny Alén. 4-1. Freezerpool FC made a substitution. Virgilio Hermelando replaced Alvaro Giro. La Cosa Nostra made a substitution. Gustavo Severiano replaced Jerónimo Avelar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício Mansilha in the 88th minute of play forced Freezerpool FC's goalkeeper Miki Moco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Matias Casco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sonny Alén. La Cosa Nostra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matias Casco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Ramon Achterberg hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
