Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Sliema Dragons FC's Kim Bolas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Kim Bolas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Kim Bolas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kim Bolas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 21 minutes into the game, Daniel Pimentel threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sliema Dragons FC's Song Guang Zhan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Bolas in the 23rd minute of play. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kim Bolas's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Sliema Dragons FC's Mike Axisa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Moreira in the 26th minute of play. Mike Axisa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Barreto went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Bolas in the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes in the game Fabian Duca did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to 周斐俊. Mike Axisa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute Caetano Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Axisa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Moura was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes in the game Bruno Bastos did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Daniel Pimentel. With his leg Mike Axisa managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Portugal's Felipe Barreto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sliema Dragons FC made a substitution. Gábor Illés replaced 周斐俊. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sliema Dragons FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felipe Barreto was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Faustino Almeida managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a defensive mix-up in Sliema Dragons FC's zone, Viriato Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mike Axisa came out of the goal and Viriato Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felipinho Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mike Axisa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipinho Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipinho Amorim got free with Mike Axisa in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sliema Dragons FC's Mike Axisa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Almeida in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dejan Cassar in the 78th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
