Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got the match started through his kick off. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jānis Lielais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 5th minute of the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Arnout Reekers managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when SK Annenieki's Artūrs Sagalats fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jānis Lielais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artūrs Sagalats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jānis Lielais having to interfere. In the 24thth minute of the game Gustaaf Groeneveldt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Annenieki's Jānis Lielais was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Arnout Reekers managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when SK Annenieki's Artūrs Sagalats fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gijsbert ter Kruimer might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jānis Lielais. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Annenieki's goalkeeper Jānis Lielais, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 40th minute. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Lars Meesters fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jānis Lielais quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artūrs Sagalats stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by SK Annenieki's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Artūrs Sagalats recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Netherlands's David Eikelkamp got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, SK Annenieki's Jānis Lielais got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. SK Annenieki's Jānis Lielais proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save SK Annenieki from getting a goal against them. In the 64th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Meesters to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, Indris Tomass stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and Indris Tomass tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jānis Lielais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Mathijn Doctor hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. SK Annenieki's Vilis Lettlands was substituted for Indris Tomass. SK Annenieki made a substitution. Santis Krūzītis replaced Renāts Skipors. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 85th minute of play forced SK Annenieki's goalkeeper Jānis Lielais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, SK Annenieki's Jānis Lielais got control of the ball when Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jānis Lielais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 87th minute of the match. Jānis Lielais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jānis Lielais. Wim Wilmes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. In the 92nd match minute, SK Annenieki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santis Krūzītis to maneuver through the defense. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilis Lettlands in the 94th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Netherlands walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
