Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Gasteiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Arkadiusz Brzonkala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Arkadiusz Brzonkala might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Keld Paulsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arkadiusz Brzonkala ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 97th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenn Skou to maneuver through the defense.
