The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Percy Paiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Constantino Henrico's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomé Araújo got free with Serafin Ugaitz in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reinaldo Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The Scragbadun FC fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Scragbadun FC's Tomé Araújo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tomé Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Dagoberto Ramalho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Serafin Ugaitz, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Generoso Semeno got a free kick in the 39th minute. Percy Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Nieruchliwy, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Tomé Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute, Paddy Attenborough hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Serafin Ugaitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomé Araújo's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Serafin Ugaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomé Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hüsnü Hürsel kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65thth minute of the game Constantino Henrico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scragbadun FC's Percy Paiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cacomixtles de Queretaro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Atilano Chorache in the 68th minute. A nice corner shot did that Atilano Chorache got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Percy Paiva quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 75 minutes into the match, Cacomixtles de Queretaro's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Severo came free, but Serafin Ugaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Messias in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafin Ugaitz saved Cacomixtles de Queretaro from getting behind. 83 minutes into the game, Tomé Araújo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Serafin Ugaitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Cacomixtles de Queretaro getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Nestor Viviano hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Nestor Viviano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Scragbadun FC had played much better football throughout.
