In the 3rd minute Ingvar Wallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Frick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moisés Frick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Wallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 9 played minutes Athletic Club Larrondo got a freekick which was hit by Federico Azoca. Luís Gustavo Madureira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Percy Paiva skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Athletic Club Larrondo's goalkeeper Moisés Frick, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ingvar Wallin scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Moisés Frick, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Moisés Frick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomé Araújo in the 19th minute of play. Federico Azoca kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingvar Wallin in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moisés Frick saved Athletic Club Larrondo from getting behind. Luís Gustavo Madureira came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Percy Paiva could save by the left post. In the 27th minute Luís Gustavo Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percy Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moisés Frick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomé Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes Athletic Club Larrondo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anísio de Alcântara who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Ingvar Wallin heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Federico Azoca during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Federico Azoca kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Yuri Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Percy Paiva made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Vladimiro Elizardo sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Gustavo Madureira in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Percy Paiva saved Scragbadun FC from getting behind. A collision led to Athletic Club Larrondo getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Honorato Argomedo hit a great ball. Athletic Club Larrondo's Moisés Frick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé Araújo in the 46th minute of play. Scragbadun FC were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Athletic Club Larrondo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anísio de Alcântara took the corner. After the first half Scragbadun FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Percy Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Gustavo Madureira in the 53rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomé Araújo got free with Moisés Frick in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Scragbadun FC's Anísio de Alcântara to fire away a dangerous shot which Moisés Frick despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ingvar Wallin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Moisés Frick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moisés Frick made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingvar Wallin in the 67th minute. With his leg Moisés Frick managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Scragbadun FC's Tomé Araújo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Scragbadun FC's goalkeeper Percy Paiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 77 played minutes Scragbadun FC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Custódio. Scragbadun FC's Dida Cavalcante was substituted for Yuri Freire. In the 80th minute, Scragbadun FC's Tomé Araújo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Moisés Frick. Moisés Frick yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Augusto Custódio struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Moisés Frick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scragbadun FC. After 85 minutes, Éthan Raffin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scragbadun FC and the Athletic Club Larrondo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Éthan Raffin hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Moisés Frick made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomé Araújo in the 92nd minute. The corner ended in Anísio de Alcântara almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Athletic Club Larrondo's Moisés Frick did a great save. Percy Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Madureira in the 95th minute of play.
