When Chris Mergenthaler fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Chris Mergenthaler a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. Marcin Najman struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talento Futebol clube. Lu Yuan Yin kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. A hard shot by Gualter Proença from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Tommy Kahn's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. When Lu Yuan Yin came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Talento Futebol clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lu Yuan Yin couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Lu Yuan Yin took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. A sloppy throw-in by Júnior Zago in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Germany's Janik Vogt. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. 45 minutes into the match, Marcin Najman notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lu Yuan Yin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Lu Yuan Yin came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Gualter Proença almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Pernambucano hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Talento Futebol clube fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 80 minutes, Germany's Frank Sachs got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Michel van der Bij. Frank Sachs in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Michel van der Bij, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 85 minutes into the game, Marcin Najman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 92 minutes into the match, Albin Holweck dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Michel van der Bij, 3-2. The Talento Futebol clube support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
