Bernard Zajac breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 15 minutes into the match, Gruszowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Remy Dupuy came free, but Bernard Zajac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dominik Walczak. Jean Bombelles charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean Bombelles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Bombelles to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dominik Walczak. Bernard Zajac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Camille Baume managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camille Baume was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dominik Walczak might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maxime Durand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dominik Walczak ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half France were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to France getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Henry Robiquet hit a great ball. Gruszowiec's Dominik Walczak got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 59 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Jean Bombelles. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Walczak in the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Gruszowiec's goalkeeper Bernard Zajac had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remy Dupuy. If Robert Chapuis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernard Zajac was a little too slow when Frank Peletier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 86th minute, Frank Peletier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernard Zajac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Barbier in the 89th minute of the match. Dominik Walczak might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maxime Durand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dominik Walczak ran back to his position shaking his head. Cyryl Dziura made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by France's Henry Robiquet. The Gruszowiec fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. France were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
