Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yves Dervaux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edward Vanderstraeten kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Winthont FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgium's players had a chance to rest. Edward Vanderstraeten made a great header on Belgium's corner, it was just that Winthont FC's Dennis Beerthuis managed to reach the ball for a save. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Winthont FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Belgium for much of the match.
