The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Oskar Haeger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy. In the 18th minute, Zena Busacca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute of the match Robin Hood sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Vittori skillfully saved the ball. Hermanö Oilers's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Italy's Eliseo Cutri managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Erland Mellin in the 36 minute of the game. Hermanö Oilers made a substitution. Fabian Ramond replaced Apa Banana. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. Oskar Haeger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute of the match Italy got a corner. Hermanö Oilers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 58thth minute of the game Dave Di Filippo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Flavio Vittori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hermanö Oilers made a substitution. Hjalmar Askelöf replaced Erland Mellin. In the 67th minute, Sostene Vitulli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Robin Hood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermanö Oilers's Oskar Haeger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Hermanö Oilers from getting a goal against them. Oskar Haeger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zaccheo Andolina's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. If Siricio Liotta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Hjalmar Askelöf in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. In the 80th match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siricio Liotta to maneuver through the defense. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Hermanö Oilers's Jacek Zielinski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eliseo Cutri, made in the 94th minute of the game. Italy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
