Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benjamin Malák started the match with the kick off. With his leg Arnout Reekers managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Viktoria Radim's František Vojtěchovský fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 4th minute, Lukáš Víšek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Viktoria Radim's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. In the 13th minute, Lukáš Švach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 14 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Cristiano Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. The Netherlands fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cristiano Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Viktoria Radim's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Cristiano Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Cristiano Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Cristiano Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristiano Barbosa. Viktoria Radim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gijsbert ter Kruimer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Cristiano Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. When Bas Tuitert fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Netherlands's protests and gave Bas Tuitert a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Netherlands! In the 39th minute of the game, Bas Tuitert landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lev Popovič during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Viktoria Radim getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Lev Popovič hit a great ball. Cristiano Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ameen Batran got free with Arnout Reekers in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute of the match Viktoria Radim got a corner. Netherlands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lev Popovič ran over to the corner to take the kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Viktoria Radim's Cristiano Barbosa got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ameen Batran in the 59th minute of play. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Benjamin Malák got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Viktoria Radim's Cristiano Barbosa got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Cristiano Barbosa however easily saved by the left post. Benjamin Malák struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viktoria Radim. In the 73rd minute Benjamin Malák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Viktoria Radim's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Barbosa came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristiano Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Cristiano Barbosa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Netherlands eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
