The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Romário Passos took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Freddy Gil to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romário Passos in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddy Gil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute, Bucéfalo FC's Romário Passos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Freddy Gil. Freddy Gil yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 14 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Maore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Chusca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bucéfalo FC the free kick. In the 14th match minute, Club Atletico Chusca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Maore to maneuver through the defense. Freddy Gil was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Diamantino Ferreira. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Chusca's Pastor Jurgi got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 25 minutes of play, Club Atletico Chusca's Iker Nayely made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui de Mendonça was left in no man's land by his defense there! Freddy Gil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Nunes went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Freddy Gil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Freddy Gil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Branco in the 36th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celestino Fonda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Nunes came free, but Freddy Gil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Arthur Branco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Freddy Gil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Nunes in the 61st minute of play forced Club Atletico Chusca's goalkeeper Freddy Gil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Atletico Chusca's Freddy Gil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romário Passos in the 62nd minute of play. Paulo Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Freddy Gil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romário Passos's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. If Paulo Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bucéfalo FC made a substitution. Tico Mole replaced Romário Passos. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Tico Mole sped through Club Atletico Chusca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Freddy Gil. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Chusca defense, Tico Mole kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Freddy Gil. The Club Atletico Chusca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freddy Gil should have stopped the shot. Bucéfalo FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Club Atletico Chusca for a fine match.
