The supporters of Bucéfalo FC booed when Unidade Pinto Louco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fábio de Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romário Passos went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Fábio de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romário Passos in the 7th minute of play. If Paulo Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 11th minute Vivaldo Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fábio de Godoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romário Passos's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Fábio de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Branco in the 16th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romário Passos in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fábio de Godoi saved Unidade Pinto Louco from getting behind. After 22 minutes of play, Bucéfalo FC's Paulo Nunes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fábio de Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vivaldo Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Unidade Pinto Louco's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Branco came free, but Fábio de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fábio de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romário Passos in the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bucéfalo FC's Celsinho de Lara got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 42 played minutes Unidade Pinto Louco got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Pinto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Ferreira in the 43rd minute of play forced Unidade Pinto Louco's goalkeeper Fábio de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Romário Passos came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Bucéfalo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romário Passos couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Romário Passos made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Arthur Branco fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A hard shot 51 in the game by Romário Passos from a close distance when the talented Fábio de Godoi managed to make a qualified save. Unidade Pinto Louco's players were relieved. Romário Passos had several of the Unidade Pinto Louco's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 51 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Fábio de Godoi as he didn't even see the shot coming. Fábio de Godoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Nunes's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute Bucéfalo FC were awarded a corner. Diamantino Ferreira went to the cornerflag to take it. Bucéfalo FC's Diamantino Ferreira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fábio de Godoi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 57thth minute of the game Romário Passos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Unidade Pinto Louco's Fábio de Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Bucéfalo FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Paulo Nunes hit a great ball. Unidade Pinto Louco's Fábio de Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Unidade Pinto Louco from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, Unidade Pinto Louco's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Branco came free, but Fábio de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute of the match, Arthur Branco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fábio de Godoi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 77th match minute, Unidade Pinto Louco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vivaldo Lago to maneuver through the defense. Bucéfalo FC's Romário Passos was substituted for Diamantino Ferreira. Fábio de Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 minutes Unidade Pinto Louco's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tico Mole who took care of the corner kick. Bucéfalo FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
