The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Dörtdivan SK's goalkeeper Osman Ali Toker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İlyas Tolga Afak. After 7 played minutes Dörtdivan SK got a freekick which was hit by Muammer Cantürk. Cabbar Akcebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Müfit Uygunel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Müfit Uygunel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cabbar Akcebe in the 12th minute of the match. Mümtaz Üstam was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 17 minutes into the match, FENERBAHÇE 1899's goal looked a bit too open when Cabbar Akcebe came free, but Müfit Uygunel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aktuğ Süphan kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Müfit Uygunel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cabbar Akcebe in the 25th minute of the match. Osman Ali Toker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kıraç Onaran, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Kıraç Onaran got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 40th minute, Muammer Cantürk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Cabbar Akcebe made the kick off in the second half. Mümtaz Üstam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. İbrahim Efe Hikmettin scored 0-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Müfit Uygunel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Mümtaz Üstam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 0-3 when İbrahim Efe Hikmettin sped through FENERBAHÇE 1899's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Müfit Uygunel. If Gökçe Kongur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İbrahim Efe Hikmettins short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Müfit Uygunel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kağan Taykara hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Tan Rafettin made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lokman Acunman. The FENERBAHÇE 1899 manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Dörtdivan SK to win.
