The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Karagümrük JK's Yusuf Ziya Açıkgöz got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute of the match Atilla Bumin Nurdag shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nejat Dalga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nejat Dalga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cabbar Akcebe in the 8th minute of play. Nejat Dalga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İbrahim Efe Hikmettin in the 10th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tan Rafettin during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tan Rafettin kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. With a little luck, Dörtdivan SK's Osman Ali Toker got control of the ball when Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Öztürk Mirza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute İbrahim Efe Hikmettin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nejat Dalga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nejat Dalga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cabbar Akcebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nejat Dalga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muammer Cantürk in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Osman Ali Toker. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 35th minute, Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osman Ali Toker was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Nejat Dalga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cabbar Akcebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes in the game, İbrahim Efe Hikmettin dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lokman Acunman in the 44th minute of play forced Karagümrük JK's goalkeeper Nejat Dalga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osman Ali Toker came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Karagümrük JK's Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz. But to his dismay, Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Dörtdivan SK's Nejat Dalga threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cabbar Akcebe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 57th minute of the match Batuğ Barkan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osman Ali Toker showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 65th minute, Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osman Ali Toker was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 68th minute, Karagümrük JK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Muhammet Himmet fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Faik Başkur's late challenge caught a Dörtdivan SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faik Başkur helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, Karagümrük JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faik Başkur to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Karagümrük JK's goalkeeper Nejat Dalga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İbrahim Efe Hikmettin. Nejat Dalga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muhammet Himmet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Dörtdivan SK defense, Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osman Ali Toker. The Dörtdivan SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osman Ali Toker should have stopped the shot. Nejat Dalga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Muhammet Himmet in the 84th minute. İbrahim Efe Hikmettin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Nejat Dalga made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osman Ali Toker saved Dörtdivan SK from getting behind. Muhammet Himmet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Nejat Dalga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Öztürk Mirza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osman Ali Toker having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dörtdivan SK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Karagümrük JK.
