Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leandro Diez took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Leandro Diez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San García fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 6th minute, Bronson Trevino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leandro Diez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Lenny Hartley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th match minute, Monmouth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernie Youngblood to maneuver through the defense. After 13 played minutes San García got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Amorebieta. When Rudy Stovall came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Monmouth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudy Stovall couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leandro Diez in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lenny Hartley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wiley Patten hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. A collision led to Monmouth getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Bronson Trevino hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the game, San García's Leandro Diez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lenny Hartley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. San García's Ascencio Medina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudy Stovall in the 29th minute of play. Ascencio Medina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Grace in the 34th minute of the match. Wiley Patten hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The long shot by Camilo Amorebieta in the 43rd minute really tested Lenny Hartley's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Wiley Patten hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Leandro Diez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Lenny Hartley when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

San García's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Vito Grace scored to the left of an out of position Ascencio Medina, making the score, 2-1. In the 60th minute, Sylvester Copeland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Santiago Aznar in the 62nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Lenny Hartley's left hand side. The audience was convinced that Leandro Diez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lenny Hartley was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After 69 minutes of play, Monmouth's Vito Grace made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ascencio Medina was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Leandro Diez put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Lenny Hartley. Lenny Hartley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Diez in the 82nd minute of the match. Leandro Diez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenny Hartley having to interfere. After some careless play in the Monmouth defense, Leandro Diez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lenny Hartley. The Monmouth fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lenny Hartley should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the game, Mitxel Lara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San García's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monmouth the free kick. In the 89th match minute, San García was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mitxel Lara to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Jake Haynes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ascencio Medina. The goal made the score 4-4.
