After 9 played minutes aalborg bk got a freekick which was hit by Ejner Lysel. Jimmi Jehøj scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lenny Hartley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lenny Hartley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmi Jehøj in the 16th minute of play. After 16 played minutes aalborg bk got a freekick which was hit by Asmind Ehrenreichsen. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Rudy Stovall took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Micael Reisholt to make any attempt to save it. 23 minutes into the match, aalborg bk's goalkeeper Micael Reisholt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vito Grace. 24 minutes into the game, Rudy Stovall recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Micael Reisholt. Rudy Stovall showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Jimmi Jehøj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 minutes of play, aalborg bk's Ejner Lysel made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lenny Hartley was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in aalborg bk's zone, Vito Grace stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Micael Reisholt came out of the goal and Vito Grace tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. aalborg bk's Ejner Lysel got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jake Haynes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Micael Reisholt having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, aalborg bk's Jimmi Jehøj sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lenny Hartley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ejner Lysel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Lenny Hartley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, one of aalborg bk:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for aalborg bk. The goalkeeper, Micael Reisholt, was totally fooled by Monmouth's Bronson Trevino, who 49 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rudy Stovall to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Rudy Stovall cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Micael Reisholt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 58 minutes into the match, Wiley Patten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Micael Reisholt. aalborg bk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wiley Patten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. 60 minutes into the match, aalborg bk's goal looked a bit too open when Rudy Stovall came free, but Micael Reisholt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Monmouth's goalkeeper Lenny Hartley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimmi Jehøj. Wiley Patten scored 7-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Micael Reisholt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Micael Reisholt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jake Haynes went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-2 was the resulting score. In the 72ndth minute of the game Jimmi Jehøj who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monmouth's Lenny Hartley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Monmouth's Lenny Hartley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ejner Lysel in the 74th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jimmi Jehøj's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lenny Hartley was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Lenny Hartley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis Løvholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 97 played minutes, Monmouth's Bronson Trevino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Micael Reisholt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Monmouth reached it. Micael Reisholt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiley Patten, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Monmouth were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of aalborg bk for a fine match.
