Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kıraç Onaran got free with Nejat Dalga in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of FENERBAHÇE 1899 booed when Karagümrük JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ergincan Erguvan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Karagümrük JK's zone, Anıl Cenk Tecen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nejat Dalga came out of the goal and Anıl Cenk Tecen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 9 minutes, Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karagümrük JK and the FENERBAHÇE 1899 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FENERBAHÇE 1899 booed when Karagümrük JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute İlyas Tolga Afak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nejat Dalga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Kıraç Onaran dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nejat Dalga, 1-0. After 18 played minutes Karagümrük JK got a freekick which was hit by Ergincan Erguvan. In the 19th minute, Gökalp Sayar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nejat Dalga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anıl Cenk Tecen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Karagümrük JK's goalkeeper Nejat Dalga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İlyas Tolga Afak. Karagümrük JK's Nejat Dalga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mümtaz Üstam in the 25th minute of play. Öztürk Mirza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FENERBAHÇE 1899's Kıraç Onaran got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Müfit Uygunel. Müfit Uygunel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz sped through FENERBAHÇE 1899's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Müfit Uygunel. Müfit Uygunel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Müfit Uygunel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karagümrük JK. In the 47th match minute, Karagümrük JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faik Başkur to maneuver through the defense. Mehmet Hakkı Oğuz got his second yellow card in the match during the 49th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kıraç Onaran to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Batuğ Barkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Müfit Uygunel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Öztürk Mirza in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kıraç Onaran in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nejat Dalga saved Karagümrük JK from getting behind. Müfit Uygunel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Öztürk Mirza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 60 minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Müfit Uygunel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Sami Ciner in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Karagümrük JK's Faik Başkur. After 91 played minutes FENERBAHÇE 1899 got a freekick which was hit by Tugay İdrisoğlu. Müfit Uygunel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Öztürk Mirza in the 92nd minute of play. Tugay İdrisoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Müfit Uygunel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Öztürk Mirza in the 95th minute of play. Ergincan Erguvan hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. The Karagümrük JK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Karagümrük JK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
