An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Refik Tekay in the 15th minute of play forced Braintree United's goalkeeper Adam Bitat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Bitat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cabbar Akcebe in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fodil Ouar in the 23rd minute of play forced Dörtdivan SK's goalkeeper Osman Ali Toker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ahmet Refik Tekay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dörtdivan SK's Cabbar Akcebe got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cabbar Akcebe struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Adam Bitat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dörtdivan SK. In the 48thth minute of the game Cabbar Akcebe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Braintree United's Adam Bitat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cabbar Akcebe to make the kick off. With a little luck, Braintree United's Adam Bitat got control of the ball when Ahmet Refik Tekay tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Braintree United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dörtdivan SK's performance. The match ended with a win for Dörtdivan SK.
