After 12 minutes of play, Braintree United's Nazim Khalef made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafin Mantzio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rolando Goito did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Adam Bitat 15 minutes into the match. In the 18th match minute, Los Davicitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Richie to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the game, Braintree United's Amine Chadl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serafin Mantzio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 25th minute, Placido Lico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Davicitos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Isidro Olivar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Los Davicitos's Placido Lico dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-2. After a defensive mix-up in Braintree United's zone, Isidro Olivar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Bitat came out of the goal and Isidro Olivar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Placido Licos short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Adam Bitat to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 44th minute, Mustapha Aggoune hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The audience was convinced that Placido Lico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adam Bitat was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 55th minute Rolando Goito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Bitat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th match minute, Braintree United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelkrim Adjaoud to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Placido Lico in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adam Bitat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th match minute, Braintree United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustapha Aggoune to maneuver through the defense. If Rolando Goito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Isidro Olivar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Davicitos's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidro Olivar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adam Bitat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the game, Kateb Ouenjelli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Braintree United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Davicitos the free kick. In the 65th minute, one of Braintree United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Braintree United. Placido Lico walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 74th minute, Placido Lico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Davicitos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. Adam Bitat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Goito in the 78th minute of play. Adam Bitat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Olivar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute Isidro Olivar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Bitat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 minutes Braintree United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Placido Lico who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Placido Lico got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Adam Bitat quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Los Davicitos's Serafin Mantzio got control of the ball when Abdelkrim Adjaoud tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Placido Lico in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam Bitat saved Braintree United from getting behind. Adam Bitat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Lico in the 91st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Goito in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. Adam Bitat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Placido Lico went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-2 was the resulting score. Braintree United's Adam Bitat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Lico in the 98th minute of play. In the 99th minute Los Davicitos were awarded a corner. Placido Lico went to the cornerflag to take it. Roberto Ireno was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When the referee ended the match the Los Davicitos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
