To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the match, Fluminense DF's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Astrada came free, but Umberto Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Millrick hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, João Augusto Baiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artemio Bidun was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Décio Cunha succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 15th playminute. 19 minutes into the match, Fluminense DF's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Ovando came free, but Umberto Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Décio Cunha in the 24th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Artemio Bidun kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. When Marco Astrada fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EL COCO's protests and gave Marco Astrada a yellow card for diving instead. Marco Astrada hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. EL COCO's Artemio Bidun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Décio Cunha in the 35th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Décio Cunha to make the kick off. The Fluminense DF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. 64 minutes into the game, Fluminense DF's João Augusto Baiano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artemio Bidun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 12-0 when Décio Cunha sped through EL COCO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Artemio Bidun. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Décio Cunha in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artemio Bidun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 81 minutes, Décio Cunha made it 14-0 with a short kick to the right side. EL COCO's Artemio Bidun tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Artemio Bidun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germán Kanø in the 88th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Décio Cunha in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. EL COCO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Germán Kanø was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 16-0. 94 minutes into the match, EL COCO's goal looked a bit too open when Germán Kanø came free, but Artemio Bidun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
