In the 10th minute of the match Xiboquinha FC got a corner. Knights Templar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tiberiu Jienescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Xiboquinha FC's Tage Backlund was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Radomir Medarov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Xiboquinha FC's Tage Backlund got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tage Backlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Radomir Medarov made a huge save. Júlio Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabin Tecău in the 20th minute of the match. The throw-in from Ginyo Myankov in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Xiboquinha FC's Sílvio Favoretto. 29 minutes into the match, Knights Templar's goalkeeper Radomir Medarov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tage Backlund. The audience was convinced that Tage Backlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radomir Medarov was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Albano Eladio's late challenge caught a Knights Templar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Tage Backlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radomir Medarov was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sabin Tecău to strike the kick off in the second half. When Ginyo Myankov fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Knights Templar's protests and gave Ginyo Myankov a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, César Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xiboquinha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but César Moraes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radomir Medarov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tage Backlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. In the 83rd minute Roch Fedosz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tage Backlund in the 92nd minute of play forced Knights Templar's goalkeeper Radomir Medarov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manoel Couto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radomir Medarov having to make a save. Radomir Medarov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, Knights Templar failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
