Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Magnus Hedman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Cantona in the 20th minute of play. Juha Jokiranta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edwin Eklund in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Ruud van Nistelrooij ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Magnus Hedman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albert Vennerlund during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Lite Finare Lite Bättre got a freekick which was hit by Albert Vennerlund. In the 41st minute of the match Manchester United FC got a corner. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Taito Tuulola ran over to the corner to take the kick. Manchester United FC's Taito Tuulola was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Magnus Hedman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 45 minutes into the match, Edwin Eklund notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Manchester United FC's Juha Jokiranta. Juha Jokiranta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After having played for 51 minutes, Taito Tuulola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taito Tuulola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ruud van Nistelrooij's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Magnus Hedman was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Erik Cantona managed to get in a good position for a shot. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juha Jokiranta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Taito Tuulola struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Magnus Hedman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester United FC. Juha Jokiranta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivar Utfal in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lite Finare Lite Bättre's goalkeeper Magnus Hedman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Magnus Hedman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Cantona in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester United FC's goalkeeper Juha Jokiranta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manchester United FC's Taito Tuulola got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Lite Finare Lite Bättre fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Manchester United FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
