Aldo Berart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Preuss in the 7th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Athletic Club Larrondo's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Preuss came free, but Aldo Berart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 minutes Athletic Club Larrondo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Santiago Ascacíbar who took care of the corner kick. Sílvio Favoretto made a great header on Xiboquinha FC's corner, it was just that Athletic Club Larrondo's Aldo Berart managed to reach the ball for a save. After 17 minutes of play, Athletic Club Larrondo's Albin Lavandero made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alessandro Pereira was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Xiboquinha FC's Alessandro Pereira got control of the ball when Agustín Muga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aldo Berart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Preuss in the 24th minute of play. Athletic Club Larrondo's Aldo Berart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Favoretto in the 25th minute of play. Jacob Preuss struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Aldo Berart didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xiboquinha FC. Albin Lavandero's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alessandro Pereira firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 32nd minute, Júlio Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xiboquinha FC's attentive Yenal Kargin managed to snatch the ball when Honorato Argomedo made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Jacob Preuss's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aldo Berart was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Júlio Linares was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Xiboquinha FC's Enrico Duarte got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 60th minute Santiago Ascacíbar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Berart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Athletic Club Larrondo's Aldo Berart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Linares in the 62nd minute of play. Alessandro Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Lavandero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sílvio Favoretto hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 72nd match minute, Xiboquinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Guilherme Zanette to maneuver through the defense. When Victor Hugo Trumbull fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Athletic Club Larrondo's protests and gave Victor Hugo Trumbull a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 played minutes Athletic Club Larrondo got a freekick which was hit by Victor Hugo Trumbull. Alessandro Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Sances in the 81st minute of play. If Ariel Montellano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Xiboquinha FC's Yenal Kargin got a free kick in the 90th minute. When the referee ended the match the Athletic Club Larrondo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
