Adam Cornell hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sabin Tecău came free, but Jesus Satordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Knights Templar's goalkeeper Radomir Medarov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Michail Antonio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Elizabeth Three Lions FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Knights Templar's performance. The match ended with a win for Knights Templar.
