The audience thought a goal was coming when Albin Lavandero got free with Hilário Aveiro in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 3 minutes into the game, Paras Burr was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. G.D Vitória de Sernache's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Athletic Club Larrondo the free kick. After 3 played minutes G.D Vitória de Sernache got a freekick which was hit by Paras Burr. When Ariel Montellano came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Athletic Club Larrondo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Montellano couldn't finish the play. Hilário Aveiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Montellano, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Vaz in the 11th minute of play forced Athletic Club Larrondo's goalkeeper Aldo Berart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 minutes Athletic Club Larrondo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Normando Ferrão who took care of the corner kick. Aldo Berart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heitor Vigário in the 14th minute of the match. Hilário Aveiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albin Lavandero in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Victor Hugo Trumbull got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Athletic Club Larrondo's Cecilio Nolibuat got a free kick in the 25th minute. The audience was convinced that Ariel Montellano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hilário Aveiro was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After 36 minutes, Ariel Montellano made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. G.D Vitória de Sernache's Hilário Aveiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severino Vaz was the one to do the kick off. Ariel Montellano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Hilário Aveiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. G.D Vitória de Sernache's Hilário Aveiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Montellano in the 61st minute of play. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Ariel Montellano sped through G.D Vitória de Sernache's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hilário Aveiro. After having played for 66 minutes, Eric Sances managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Athletic Club Larrondo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Sances was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ariel Montellano in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hilário Aveiro saved G.D Vitória de Sernache from getting behind. G.D Vitória de Sernache's Severino Vaz got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Severino Vaz off the ground. Hilário Aveiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Montellano in the 70th minute of the match. After 73 played minutes G.D Vitória de Sernache got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Diegues. In the 74th minute of the match Albin Lavandero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hilário Aveiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hilário Aveiro came out of the goal and Ariel Montellano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Athletic Club Larrondo booed when G.D Vitória de Sernache was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavo Godinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heitor Vigário got free with Aldo Berart in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hilário Aveiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ariel Montellano went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Ariel Montellano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelino Parker took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hilário Aveiro. Hilário Aveiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Heitor Vigário kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Hilário Aveiro came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Athletic Club Larrondo's Ariel Montellano. But to his dismay, Ariel Montellano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Athletic Club Larrondo had won after a very even match.
