Jesus Satordi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Manchester United FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juha Jokiranta should have stopped the shot. Jesus Satordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruud van Nistelrooij in the 37th minute of the match. Juha Jokiranta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Spike Pritchard, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. A collision led to Manchester United FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Martti Helin hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Elizabeth Three Lions FC made a substitution. Matt Jones replaced Ray Cornell.
