After 48 minutes The Last Airbender's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sigfrido Auletta who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Italy's corner Siricio Liotta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Raimond Aumann quite easily take care of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yavuzalp Mesut to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimond Aumann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikail Savgat replaced Yavuzalp Mesut. Raimond Aumann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Curto in the 93rd minute of play forced The Last Airbender's goalkeeper Raimond Aumann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Italy's Adriano Curto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raimond Aumann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Italy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
