Sylwester Wawro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 28th minute of play. If Hug Urquiaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Casper Claes made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Christian Burgo sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Belgium were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hug Urquiaga to make the kick off. When Hug Urquiaga fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kwyjibo's protests and gave Hug Urquiaga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th match minute, Kwyjibo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hug Urquiaga to maneuver through the defense. Kwyjibo made a substitution. Kwyjibo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 高宇川 in the 63rd minute. The corner ended in 高宇川 almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Belgium's Casper Claes did a great save. Kwyjibo's attentive Gil Vital managed to snatch the ball when Floris Claeys made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Burgo came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Siebe Michiels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Belgium's attentive Floris Claeys managed to snatch the ball when Jorrin Ascargorta made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kwyjibo's goalkeeper Sylwester Wawro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kyrylo Latenko's late challenge caught a Belgium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kyrylo Latenko helped the player get up and apologised. Kyrylo Latenko hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Christian Burgo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sylwester Wawro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Vanderstraeten's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Kwyjibo's 高宇川 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casper Claes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Belgium's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
