Matei Oltean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Panasewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Rafa de Almeida recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Robin Sharma. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karol Panasewicz to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yaser Oğuzman got free with Matei Oltean in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matei Oltean came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Blue Mountain State's Yaser Oğuzman. But to his dismay, Yaser Oğuzman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Blue Mountain State's Gökcan Bergin was substituted for Aykut Aşkın. Blue Mountain State's Dino Berardino was substituted for Vitinho Faria. Matei Oltean made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 66th minute. Zhu Ao Yi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robin Sharma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th match minute, Blue Mountain State was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Popescu to maneuver through the defense. After 70 played minutes Blue Mountain State got a freekick which was hit by George Popescu. Blue Mountain State's attentive George Popescu managed to snatch the ball when Celsinho Perez made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. Maurinho Trezeguet struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Robin Sharma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 『盛世メ名門』Donalton F.C.™. Jarbas Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Sharma having to interfere. After 92 minutes of play, Blue Mountain State's Lionel-Andrés Messi made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matei Oltean was left in no man's land by his defense there!
