The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Antal Valentin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damaso Quilo was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. The supporters of Hungary booed when よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodri De Paul didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damaso Quilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takacs Tibor in the 9th minute of play forced よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ's goalkeeper Damaso Quilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Damaso Quilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Hungary's Takacs Tibor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damaso Quilo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Szekeres Tamas made in the 18th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Balazs Lajos however managed to control. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Major Barna took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damaso Quilo. Damaso Quilo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Damaso Quilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 25th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Damaso Quilo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28th minute, Antal Valentin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 33 played minutes よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Selatse. よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ's Damaso Quilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 33rd minute of play. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Honorato Boniel was slow to take the kick. Damaso Quilo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Major Barna sped through よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Damaso Quilo. In the 54th minute, Evelio Iztal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute of the match, Antal Valentin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Damaso Quilo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Damaso Quilo made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. Antal Valentin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Damaso Quilo came out and tried to block the shot, but Antal Valentin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 64th minute. Evelio Iztal's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Iztal helped the player get up and apologised. Evelio Iztal kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ's Paolo Joey was substituted for Guido Rozarius. 69 minutes into the game, Hungary's Major Barna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damaso Quilo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Damaso Quilo in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Takacs Tibor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Damaso Quilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Damaso Quilo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. With a little luck, よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ's Damaso Quilo got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ's Denis Maureo got a free kick in the 88th minute. Victorio Selatse kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Antal Valentin came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Damaso Quilo could save by the left post. In the 95th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
