After 22 played minutes AKATSUKIS FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Artechevezuen. 24 minutes into the match, Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Sobrado. After 25 played minutes AKATSUKIS FC got a freekick which was hit by Carcelén Dragranda. After having played for 28 minutes, Juan Sobrado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AKATSUKIS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Sobrado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Seidler to maneuver through the defense. After 33 minutes Austria's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carcelén Dragranda who took care of the corner kick. Paco Helguera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Auer having to interfere. Nico Waismann kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Juan Sobrado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Fabio Auer made a huge save. Stalin Indart kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sandro Galishoff to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Jose-Antonio Fragua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Paco Helguera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harold Holsmuller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Auer having to interfere. A throw-in in the 66th minute of the game was made by Emil Seidler with Fabio Schneider as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 67th minute, Alonzo Gallinal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute Paco Helguera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Auer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Seidler to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the game, Paco Helguera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Fabio Auer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 86 minutes into the match, Austria's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Sobrado came free, but Fabio Auer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Sobrado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute Paco Helguera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Auer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Austria's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Sobrado came free, but Fabio Auer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Austria's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
