The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Desiderio Handi to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Águilas Poblanas defense, Frank Sachs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saverio Chuse. The Águilas Poblanas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saverio Chuse should have stopped the shot. Águilas Poblanas's Saverio Chuse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 58th minute of play. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saverio Chuse. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. 79 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Saverio Chuse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Saverio Chuse made a huge save. A sloppy throw-in by Marcial Mannie in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Germany's Linus Schwerner. Albin Holweck struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Saverio Chuse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Germany's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
