The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 minutes, Yong 典韦 mouthed his way into the referee's book. Henk van der Werff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Micah Macdonald in the 31st minute of the match. De hijgende Hertjes's Henk van der Werff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Cox in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Caelan Hayes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Assendelft stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marco Assendelft blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Khalid Kennedy having to make a save. Alex Belém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalid Kennedy having to interfere. Robert Mos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 61 minutes, Alex Belém managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De hijgende Hertjes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Belém was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marco Assendelft ran back to his position shaking his head. Issac Dawson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Henk van der Werff made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xavier Gallagher during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Xavier Gallagher kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Alex Belém suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Quinn Holmes was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Marco Assendelft's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Khalid Kennedy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Seth Young thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Khalid Kennedy, a very annoying self made goal in the 96th minute which led to 4-1. De hijgende Hertjes's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
