Ramon Wright showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 17th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as The Globo Red's Caco Moura slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 3-0 after 18 minutes of play. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marty Hurren in the 24th minute of play. When Albin Holweck fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Albin Holweck a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marty Hurren in the 28th minute of play. Dominik Webb charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dominik Webb the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of The Globo Red:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Germany:s goal. Ramon Wright stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Ramon Wright took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Caco Moura was the one to do the kick off. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caco Moura went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After 57 minutes, Kang Han Le mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Globo Red and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. 60 minutes into the match, Caco Moura notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marty Hurren during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute, Marty Hurren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
