In the 10th minute of the game Iona Tudora made a throw-in which Edgar Cosoreanu played forward. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dănuț Roman in the 11th minute of play. Camille Baume's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxim Zdrăilă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Maxim Zdrăilă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Călin Popârcea in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by France's Quentin Beaux. 22 minutes into the game, Ioan Tudora was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave France the free kick. France's Marc-Antoine Bardin was substituted for Quentin Beaux. The supporters of -BZF- Valea Buzăului booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camille Baume didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Cosmin Constantin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When France's Camille Baume in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 41st minute, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Cosmin Iancu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dănuț Roman in the 44th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Chapuis in the 46th minute of play forced -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalkeeper Maxim Zdrăilă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Peletier was the one to do the kick off. Călin Popârcea made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by France's Remy Dupuy. In the 78th minute of the match, Camille Baume tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maxim Zdrăilă saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. David Barbier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxim Zdrăilă having to interfere. Frank Peletier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Maxim Zdrăilă made a huge save. The supporters of -BZF- Valea Buzăului booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camille Baume didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Cosoreanu's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Dănuț Roman charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dănuț Roman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dănuț Roman hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The -BZF- Valea Buzăului players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
