Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antal Valentin started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Asteri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel Messi in the 9th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Hegedus Henrik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hegedus Henrik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Romero's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Romero helped the player get up and apologised. Lionel Messi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 minutes of play, Hungary's Major Barna made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leo Asteri was left in no man's land by his defense there! A nice corner shot did that Takacs Tibor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leo Asteri quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Leo Asteri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 39th minute of play. Major Barna hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Lautaro Martinez sent off a good shot on target. Hegedus Henrik hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute of the match, Lionel Messi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fodor Daniel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Leo Asteri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Giovani Lo Celso got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Hungary's Major Barna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leo Asteri. Leo Asteri yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Hegedus Henrik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Leo Asteri in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 66 minutes, Lionel Messi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Scaloneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lionel Messi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Leandro Paredes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Cristian Romero hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leo Asteri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. When La Scaloneta's Lionel Messi in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. 84 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Martinez came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Lionel Messi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. La Scaloneta's Ángel-Fabián Di María was substituted for Leandro Paredes. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Leo Asteri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Hungary were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
