Tito Artealde made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tito Artealde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Bolas in the 7th minute of play. In the 11thth minute of the game Leszek Cupial who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EL MAGO ONEILL's Tito Artealde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ilazki Utrera's late challenge caught a Sliema Dragons FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ilazki Utrera helped the player get up and apologised. After 12 played minutes EL MAGO ONEILL got a freekick which was hit by Ilazki Utrera. EL MAGO ONEILL's Tito Artealde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Bolas in the 12th minute of play. Tito Artealde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leszek Cupial in the 18th minute of the match. After some careless play in the EL MAGO ONEILL defense, Kim Bolas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tito Artealde. The EL MAGO ONEILL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tito Artealde should have stopped the shot. Baran Erozan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tito Artealde having to interfere. Leszek Cupial scored 0-3 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tito Artealde, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Kim Bolas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tito Artealde. EL MAGO ONEILL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kim Bolas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 31 minutes into the match, EL MAGO ONEILL's goal looked a bit too open when Kim Bolas came free, but Tito Artealde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kim Bolas took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tito Artealde. Tito Artealde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Bolas in the 36th minute of play forced EL MAGO ONEILL's goalkeeper Tito Artealde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Kim Bolas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tito Artealde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Leszek Cupial ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tito Artealde was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The audience was convinced that Kim Bolas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tito Artealde was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 45th minute Kim Bolas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tito Artealde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Sliema Dragons FC were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Tito Artealde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leszek Cupial in the 53rd minute. During the 53rd minute of the match Ilazki Utrera completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ilazki Utrera a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 54 played minutes EL MAGO ONEILL got a freekick which was hit by Ilazki Utrera. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Bolas in the 55th minute of play forced EL MAGO ONEILL's goalkeeper Tito Artealde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulises Ixidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Kim Bolas came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Sliema Dragons FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kim Bolas couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leszek Cupial got free with Tito Artealde in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, Kim Bolas notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of EL MAGO ONEILL's Tito Artealde. Tito Artealde was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sliema Dragons FC made a substitution. Matteo Borda replaced Giovanni Demicoli. 65 minutes into the match, Leszek Cupial dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tito Artealde, 0-9. Sliema Dragons FC made a substitution. Dejan Cassar replaced Kim Bolas. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Dejan Cassar took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Tito Artealde to make any attempt to save it. EL MAGO ONEILL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Dejan Cassar scored to the left of an out of position Tito Artealde, making the score, 0-11. Dejan Cassar had several of the EL MAGO ONEILL's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 78 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-12 score and a disappointed Tito Artealde as he didn't even see the shot coming. EL MAGO ONEILL's Tito Artealde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save EL MAGO ONEILL from getting a goal against them. Tito Artealde was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Baran Erozan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Baran Erozan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-13. After 88 minutes of play, Sliema Dragons FC's Dejan Cassar made it 0-14 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tito Artealde was left in no man's land by his defense there! 91 minutes into the match, Leszek Cupial notched a goal, 0-15, to the right of EL MAGO ONEILL's Tito Artealde. Tito Artealde was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sliema Dragons FC's Matteo Borda got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matteo Borda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tito Artealde having to make a save. When the final whistle sounded Sliema Dragons FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than EL MAGO ONEILL.
